Inspired by the true story of a retired deep-cover agent – an "Illegal" – and genuine criminal cases from his years in the police force, this series offers an unprecedented look into the shadows. The "Illegal" himself serves as the primary source, sharing his untold story.

This isn't just history; it's a modern film noir that delves into a dark, unwritten chapter of Czech history. We follow our protagonist through the intricate web of politics, organized crime, and clandestine operations, as he grapples with his ideals against a harsh reality. Witness his transformation from a hopeful military student to a hardened deep-cover operative infiltrating dangerous criminal networks. Here, history unfolds not through textbooks, but through the raw, everyday actions and profound moral dilemmas of its characters, providing a unique and unflinching glimpse into the underbelly of the past.
